If you like scooby doo and the ghoul school you should definitely watch the reluctant werewolf one. We owned both of these on VHS when I was a kid, and both of these are so good in such a weird way. They are goofy and have weird plot points that don't make sense and I love them.

I thought I was the only person who cherished Escape from Horrorland. For like 10 Christmases and birthdays after playing through that game I put on my list "Any other Goosebumps video game." I got the Attack of the Mutants game, which was alright, but the itch really just went unscratched.

Halloween barely cracks my "Top 5 Holidays where I forget those sugar cookies aren't actually good and house a whole container" list. Number 1 on said list is St. Patrick's Day, which I only remeber is a holiday because I start to see those cookies.

And because I used to go to a after school program where there was a swimming pool and they closed the pool because an elderly person drowned. So the next few years I was at the after school program we would try to sneak into the haunted pool area

ScoobyDoo is so incidental and out of place in that movie that even though I remember dozens of lines and scenes with the monster dads, I had no memory that Scooby Doo was in the movie and I was absolutely certain you must be talking about a different movie until the screenshot.

I remember watching Are You Afraid of the Dark as a kid but the only memory I have of any specific detail is that there was one where a girl got bitten by an iguana and turned into an iguana herself, and that fucked me up for years after watching it.

the wolf man chipmunks movie having nothing to do with it staring the chipmunks explains my whole perception of them now: i very casually ever watched alive and the chipmunks as a kid, i really only remembered the werewolf one so its the one i like. once they started rebooting them as 3d i was very confused at the music-star plot because although i had been very familiar with chipmunks doing several songs i just thought that was because they were cartoons and just happened to sing sometimes or like when you just get random "such and such characters do a themed album" who thought they should be famous singers thats so silly to me its great

But it's the PERFECT horror movie for an adolescent tween who's just old enough to start staying home alone without a babysitter.
