When you have a contractor and designated subs....remodels go quick. It's the city permits and showing the plans that you don't see behind the scenes nor the inspectors. If you're in the same area as they are remodeling, etc....it's easy to start familiarizing with the inspectors. My dad was a contractor in CA. Everyone knew who he was🙌🙌

The cupboards are painted too dark a color. A nice med color like a grey would have been better. At least Jonnas using some color instead of the walls, cupboards, etc being all white which looks so sterile
Gotta hand it to Chip and Joanna. Because they are making this addition a story in their show, they can write-off the entire cost of the project. Smart move. I'm sure it will be lovely.

i think they wanted to be more creative and hgtv wanted them to continue doing what they were doing from the beginning. but they have so much to share it made sense to create their own network and hgtv probably only wanted the fixer upper type episodes

They are a great pair ! You feel like you have known them your whole life after a couple of episodes! My kids n husband love watching with me because chip makes them crack up! lol And Joanna is so talented and inspiring! 🥰

This is just what I wish I could afford, except on a smaller scale. My 97 yo mom wants to come live with us, but no room. You guys will really enjoy the extra space.
This is disgusting. Conspicuous consumption at its worst. Completely remodeling a not-very-old kitchen just because you "need a change" ? Just because you're now phenomenally rich by hosting an entertainment show? As devout christians where is your ethic around using what you NEED and sharing the rest with those less fortunate. How much do you NEED people? This is why our country is going down the tubes
Envy much? What's wrong with our country is that so many have a hand out instead of sacrificing and working for what they want. Everybody wants something for free. Nothing is free. Somebody has to pay for it. Half this country doesn't pay federal taxes. They might pay in but they get it all back plus some. Google it. Just being in America makes you richer than the majority of the world. Where most don't have social safety nets like we do. My husband and I both grew up dirt poor and have always lived below our means. We set goals and sacrificed to make them happen. Like not overbuying a house so we could pay it off in 15 years but did it in 13. We have always helped others even when it hurt and we had to scrape it together. We give all the glory to God and everyday are amazed at how he has blessed us. The bible tells us that envy will rot your bones. Do you complain about other entertainers and athletes, or just the Christians? BTW that wasn't a complete remodel of the kitchen. It was simply repainting kitchen cabinets. Smile and choose joy it will change your life.
Loving the New Edition Chip & JoJo!! The Green cabinets are Amazing, can't wait to see it onces It's done. Also our family's really enjoying the new network.
