I categorise M Night Shyamalan movies by 4 criteria: i.twist predicted, ii.twist was cheap and left bad taste and desire for refund, iii.not interested/never watched, iv.great movie. Sixth Sense is the only movie in cat iv and the rest are scatter amongst the other 4 categories (some are in more than one).
Plot twist: they were dead all along, living in a 1600s puritan village that was actually a modern day private sanctuary surrounded by fake monsters, and the plants of the world released chemicals that make people kill themselves. Yes. That makes sense. Sixth sense.
my guess is that the young characters will grow up to be the older characters (the kids growing up and occupying the parental roles will not involve incest since they're from different families), at 0:20 you see the wolf guy and the jojo rabbit girl holding hands, they both look like young versions of gael garcia and the phantom thread lady

This could’ve played so well if the parents thought those were strangers who kidnapped their children. It feels like a more realistic reaction. But quickly giving into the thought that those are your kids after such a drastic change in just a couple of hours is ridiculous. This movie feels like it will flop 💀. And who wrote the lines for the mother? I-
