Nice exercise routine, but defense is not good technique when dropping torso into kick or punch. You should be lifting leg into core as a defense before thrusting into kick. All real power and control from kicks will come from thrusting and rotating hip into impact. Maybe think of taking up ballroom cause you will really piss someone off and get hurt bad or worse.
