Wow....what a truly great and dynamic gymnast.....can someone please answer this question for me, tho....I noticed Nia did not travel from edge to edge, as I've seen happen during many other routines done by other gymnasts....questions for those who know: Do the judges expect the entire mat (from corner to corner) to be covered during the routine? Or, is it enough that the competitor covers all the elements during the routine?
What a distraction the sidelines are with others doing the same routine off of the mat. Let the gymnast do her thing without copycats! She should be the center of attention.
Been seeing your videos are recommended a lot I am lovin the dance moves. You are talented and got a sick style. I know it might be hard to find good music to dance to but you can use my songs as long as you shout me out. Would be awesome to see one of my favorite dancers get down to any of my songs. Its always so exciting to go from the olympic gym teams to the more chill and more loose college teams. That is so cool to have two different styles of floor routines but both are so amazing.

I see a lot of dancing and minimum/essential gymnastics. She is definitely talented but this performance does not speak international/Olympic elite gymnastics. It might be popular among Usa college/gymnastics style. I wish to see her more in classic gymnastics. Lovely girl who is obviously loving her sport.
This isn't international/Olympic gymnastics, though. I find the elite levels have become somewhat stale and rigid, in large part due to the scoring and restrictive regulations. Collegiate gymnastics is fun to watch because there's more room for creativity, personality, and unique expression. I enjoy both and don't see the point in comparing the two. Also, the musical genres and dance styles in this routine are rarely-if ever-featured in US collegiate gymnastics. That's why it's gone viral; people like seeing something different.
