You can clearly see on the green rod there is a reflection. But as this person pulls the cord. The reflection is now gone. Nice camera work. Also your utility knife is moving all over the place.

The cord is not stuck it is fed under the bar and both ends are on the same side it isn't a real solution to anything.

Fake. The cord have to pass through the bar necessarily. It's a trick.

After many times watching this, this is just a editing trick.

Holy crap. I thought it was fake. After 10 attempts, I actually got it! I started thinking I did it wrong because it doesn't even look real.

This was pretty cool and it works. I’m in construction and I’ve never gotten myself into a situation like this but if you couldn’t figure out the steps shown in the video just start with the other end of the extension cord. Depending on the length of the extension cord it would take a little longer but you wouldn’t have to remember all the steps. Still neat though

or, just hear me out, lift the fucking pole or get the cord unstuck using the other side of the cord.

Russian tip number 35: Make sure camera is on when you cut cord with knife while it is plugged into the wall.

He wantedly put that chord in way it is possible to come out you can see that the start point side of the cord is passed on the cord and taken beneath of the rod

It is possible only if the cord is stuck in that way if the cord is straight under that rod it's no way to get rid of it

Now do that in reverse.

If you look at it long enough you can see that the cable is not actually stuck under the pipe, just wrapped around itself. If you could get the end, that is out of the frame, it would come loose in an instant. Still a neat little trick.

Ok....i did it. After 13-15 views and much confusion, I put the playback speed to .25 and was able to recreate it! my brain really hurts. But it worked! Thanks for all your tips and tricks, life will be less hard when i use them!

I’m just keep pausing and resuming thousands of times to check how it works, but my brain decided to stop understanding the process.

Easier to visualize, if at the beginning, you look where the cord crosses itself at the bottom. This is the “knot” and to get the plug out, the plug has to move past the knot. Here’s the key: picture pushing that intersection under the bar, basically rotating everything around. This moves the knot to the same side as the plug, so the plug can now move past the knot, undoing it.
