James Van Riemsdyk with the perfect screen in front of the net and tip the shot for a goal. It’s apart of the winning formula for going deep in the playoffs. Then the second example, Marchand scores an ugly one with a pile of bodies battling in front of the net. Both examples of the kind of goals a team needs to progress deep in the playoffs. Good for JVR and Marchand.
As a bruins fan, I am so thankful Elliot missed that glove save for the bruins 2nd goal. This definitely could have gone to overtime / or completely change the pace of the game if he made that save. Flyers aren't keeping their leads at all, and the bruins can't seem to get a good lead against them but have such good 3rd period play. Hope the bruins can change it up and really get some goals earlier in the games.
These highlights are usually great even if I've watched the game.. but this package was not.. so much left out for a 9 minute reel. Cuts to a 4 on 3, ok fine thats not everyday, howd that get that way?... meaningless play, then a clip of Farabee penalty shot... ok how the hell he get that??.. I know a lot is left out in these clips but whoever did this one, must watch soccer
Bruins have such resilience this season. You can never count these boys out! I will say even though Elliot played well, he should of made that save on Kuraly. Let’s hope the Bs keep killing it!!!
@JJA1987 I can tell you're Thomas rask left because of his daughter he has explained multiple times also no big games where they lost in the playoffs weren't only on rask at all it was on the whole team plus rask has won multiple important games lol he's won of the big reason the made it to the final and game 7
Hockey sucks now? Every NHL player today, right down to the 4th line, skates better than the elite of 1980. Every one of them, even Gretzky, who was never a world-class skater. Adams Division? LOL. You know very little about NHL hockey. The Adams Division was only around from '73 to '94. The Bruins SUCKED for a lot of '73 to '94. You want "old time hockey" because you saw a movie and you want to be a tuff guy lol.
Good game boys. Why not show the Clifton fight? I guess it's because of the way the nhl is neutering the game. When I was a kid in late 70s -80s Hockey was a better game. Modern day goaltending is boring scientific but boring.
@Lee Doiron it's not what I say. It's what you say. When you tell me "I drove a bus" and I say "You really drove a bus?" your response shouldn't be "don't assume I drove a bus" . You really are a load.
@Lee Doiron LOL what horseshit. You typed "NHL is soft". I read and understood what you typed with _perfect_ clarity. I responded to _exactly_ what you typed. YOU *assumed* that "the NHL" meant "the youtube NHL channel". You stupid hump, learn to lie better.
@Lee Doiron LOL nobody assumes you mean "NHL.com" or "IRitem NHL channel" or anything but the NHLwhen you type "the NHL" . Make up a better story please.
Yo I’ve been watching hockey for as long as I can remember but I’ve been dying to ask this question for a while now. How the hell do these announcers know every player instantly and everything about how each of them are doing every season? Do they study like crazy and have super binoculars or what i just don’t understand how they can see the numbers or names so fast and remember “oh that’s Daniel Cockerson looking to make his 4th NHL goal but he’s blocked by Dale Dickington who just had an Achilles injury last season”
skill, knowledge, they’re pros at what they do. They get rosters, analysis, and love the game just as much if not more than we do. Guys like Pierre and Doc probably could call a game without any help from paperwork. Still awesome to listen to them just rattle off names and stats and bios for people you’ve never heard of lol
Most commentators know the majority of the players on the teams they cover, they are also given game day lineups and changes as well as they make some talking points for the game. During the game they are also fed information from statisticians/researches who find interesting facts and figures as the game goes on
@no no gaming Exactly lol. TBL’s run was not impressive in the slightest. They preyed on injury filled teams and played dirty on top of it with a 3 month break between regular season and playoffs. Mickey Mouse champs.
Who ever made these highlights, it would be nice to see some big hits, scraps/fight highlights too! Also if you're going to show a penalty shot, atleast show us the play that caused it.
These highlights are so poorly put together sometimes it's insane. So many clips of shots hitting the goalies square in the chest, those aren't highlights...
So when the Flyers player had a breakout a Bruins player held him so he could not get a shot away. He was awarded a penalty shot so he gets to take a free shot on the Bruins goalie with no one else on the ice
You're getting a bit carried away. Before Boston's current streak, Philly had won four in a row (and games won by either team in recent years have been tightly contested). Plus you forgot to mention Boston blowing a 3 goal lead in game 7 on top of the 3-0 series lead. That was spectacular. Boston are a better team now they don't have lucic and chara and so on. Flyers really miss couts.
Jacob Schwartz it’s not luck, if it was luck, it wouldn’t be a recurring trend of wearing teams down over the course of a game and dominating late game. It’s been the bruins game plan since Cassidy took over just dump and forecheck hard wear the d out and open up opportunities late game when the other teams d are gassed. Cassidy has mentioned this style multiple times over the years I wouldn’t just call it luck..
That seals the deal. I am no longer a Flyers fan. This team is a pure and utter embarrassment to the crime-free city of Philadelphia. I officially will not be renewing my plan next season nor will I watch on tv ever again. I’m going to Vegas where they know a thing or two.
Bruins and Comebacks, Bruins and Comeback Go together like a horse and carriage This, I tell you brotha You can't have one without the other Bruins and Comebacks, Bruins, and Comebacks It's an institute you can't disparage Ask the local gentry And they will say it's elementary Try, try, try to separate them It's an illusion Try, try, try and you will only come To this conclusion Bruins and Comebacks
MY NIGHTLY BRUIN HEART ATTACK WOO! For real though; Rask played out of his mind tonight. Thank god the Bruins decided to show up there in the 3rd. GGs Flyers!
